Senior Quantity Surveyor
📍 Location: Bridgwater (Site-based with flexibility)

The Opportunity
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a major infrastructure project in the South West. You'll be joining a forward-thinking team working on long-term, complex works involving both civils and M&E elements. If you're commercially astute, confident with NEC contracts, and ready to take ownership of high-value packages, this could be the ideal next step in your career.

Key Responsibilities
*
Commercial management from procurement to final account
*
Subcontractor management & contract administration (NEC preferred)
*
Monthly CVRs, financial forecasting & reporting
*
Use of systems such as CEMAR and Excel for cost/contract tracking
*
Supporting junior QS staff and operational teams
*
Liaising with stakeholders to drive value and mitigate risk
What You’ll Need
*
Degree in Quantity Surveying (or equivalent experience)
*
Strong understanding of NEC3/NEC4 contracts
*
Experience in civils, utilities, or infrastructure sectors
*
Confident communicator with good Excel and reporting skills
*
Ability to manage workloads and hit deadlines on site-based projects
