Job Description
Senior Quantity Surveyor wanted for this well established medium sized main contractor/developer who focus on high specification residential and commercial projects across the South East. As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will work closely with all other departments within the company helping to deliver extremely high quality projects all of which will be of bespoke design and specification.
Duties & Experience
* Ensure all commercial agreements and subcontracts adhere to the Quality manual and be familiar with of all commercial processes at site, business unit, company and JV level, as well as a good understanding of the wider processes and procedures in use.
* Support pre-contract negotiations and regularly review the contract documentation to keep the project team on course.
* Oversee all project variations.
* Use IT business systems and programmes used in construction such as MS Project, BIM applications, GIS.
* Expert level knowledge of site activities and how to ensure these are conducted safely and in a cost efficient and environmentally sound manner.
* Management of the supply chain and have clear understanding with all subcontractors.
* Previous experience of working on construction projects between the value of £1m - £25m either with a well established main contractor and/or developer.
