Our client is a well run and busy building contractor whom are looking for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their busy team. Sectors worked on include, commercial, educational, and government sectors.
This role would suit somebody looking for a long term career opportunity and looking to make a day to day impact on the business from day one, based near Maidstone
Key responsibilities
Assisting Commercial Manager
Produce valuations and payment applications
It is essential to have the knowledge and confidence to be able to take site measurements, predominantly social housing, unsupervised. Surveying of properties and pricing.
Identify changes to works information
Costing variations
Understanding of quality control, material scheduling etc
Subcontract account management
Cost reporting
This is a great entry position to work with an expanding company and work locally.
