Job Title: Senior Quantity Surveyor
Location: Central London
Salary: £70,000 - £95,000 per year

Specialising in residential, hotel, student accommodation, and RC frame developments, our projects typically range between £20m–£100m in value. The Role:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor (QS) to join our growing team in Central London. As a Senior QS, you will take ownership of managing the costs of large-scale projects from inception to completion, ensuring that all work is carried out on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will work closely with the project teams, clients, and subcontractors, overseeing multiple projects across prime locations such as Bermondsey, Southbank, and the West End.
Key Responsibilities:

Oversee the financial management of high-profile projects from start to finish.

Prepare and manage project budgets, monitor costs, and ensure projects remain within budget.
*
Lead and support junior quantity surveyors on project teams.
*
Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth project delivery.
*
Manage the preparation of tenders, estimates, and valuations.
*
Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and resolve any disputes or issues that arise.
*
Provide regular reports to senior management on project status and financial performance.
Skills & Experience:
*
Proven experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor within the construction industry.
*
Extensive experience working on large-scale projects (ideally residential, hotel, or commercial).
*
Strong knowledge of cost management, contract administration, and financial reporting.
*
Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
*
Ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously.
*
Degree or equivalent qualification in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
*
MRICS (or working towards) is highly desirable.
