Job Description
Job Title: Senior Quantity Surveyor
Location: Twickenham, SW London
Salary: £55,000 to £70,000
Package: car or car allowance, car/car allowance, 25 days leave + bank holidays, contributory pension, life assurance, healthcare, cycle to work scheme & hybrid working.
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a leading main contractor delivering a framework for a water provider in South West London. The Senior Quantity Surveyor will be responsible for the commercial management of a portfolio of projects across the region which service 15 million customers with both clean and wastewater services.
Some of the Senior Quantity Surveyors key responsibilities will include:
Working closely with the design, construction and supply chain teams to capture, analyse and control project costs
Work closely with the client to ensure expectations are met
Work closely with the supply chain to ensure work is delivered to specification, within budget and on time
Preparation and issue of relevant contract documentation
Subcontract management covering procurement through to final account negotiation
Preparation of project cost & value reports, budgets and forecasts
Assist with the development of junior commercial staff
Ensure yuor own continuous professional development
