Senior Quantity Surveyor – Commercial Projects
📍 Greater Manchester (Northern Region)
💰 Up to £75,000 + Package

Are you a Senior Quantity Surveyor with a proven track record in commercial construction projects? This is a standout opportunity to join a multi-regional main contractor with a strong reputation and a confirmed pipeline of commercial work for the next 4+ years.
While the company operates across general build, commecial,housing and mixed-use developments, this role is specifically focused on leading the commercial delivery of medium-to-large-scale commercial builds—including offices, retail, industrial, and public buildings—throughout the North West.
The Role:
*
Take full commercial responsibility for commercial new build and refurbishment schemes
*
Oversee procurement, cost planning, valuations, variations, and final accounts
*
Work closely with project teams, clients, and supply chain partners
*
Ensure commercial targets and financial performance are achieved
*
Report directly to the Commercial Manager and mentor junior staff as needed
Requirements:
*
Proven experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor on commercial construction projects
*
A stable, consistent employment history demonstrating long-term project involvement
*
Strong contractual knowledge (JCT/NEC), budget management, and negotiation skills
*
Excellent stakeholder communication and leadership abilities
*
Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying or equivalent
