We are currently recruiting for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a major civil engineering project in Edinburgh on a 9-month contract basis.
This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a high-profile infrastructure scheme and play a key role in its commercial management and delivery.
Key Responsibilities:

Oversee all commercial aspects of the project from procurement through to final accounts
*
Administer and manage contracts in line with NEC3/NEC4 conditions
*
Prepare and manage cost forecasts, valuations, and cash flow
*
Handle compensation events, change control, and subcontractor management
*
Liaise closely with site teams, the client, and key stakeholders
*
Ensure robust document control and reporting procedures
Requirements:
*
Proven experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor on large-scale civil engineering projects
*
Strong working knowledge of NEC3 or NEC4 contract suites (essential)
*
Excellent negotiation, communication, and analytical skills
*
Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or related discipline
*
Able to work on-site in Edinburgh as required
