Senior Residential Support Worker – Children’s Residential Home Salary: £32,096 - £34,800 inclusive of sleep-ins Location: Stoke ST7 Hours: Full-time Looking to take the next step in your residential childcare career? We’re looking for a Senior Residential Support Worker to join our dedicated team, supporting children and young people in a home that’s focused on making a real, lasting difference. If you’re resilient, caring, and passionate about helping young people thrive, this could be the perfect opportunity for you. What we’re looking for: Aged 22 or over (to meet Ofsted regulations) NVQ Level 3 Diploma in Children’s and Young People Workforce Minimum 2 years’ experience in residential childcare A full manual UK driving licenceYour role as a Senior Support Worker: Build strong, trusting relationships with young people Be a positive role model, helping children build confidence and independence Support children who may require high levels of care and supervision Lead shifts and provide guidance to the care team Ensure placement plans, rotas, risk assessments and safeguarding protocols are followed Promote education, emotional wellbeing, and a safe, supportive environmentWhat we offer you: £50 per sleep-in Clear progression to management with our Passport to Manage programme (Level 5 training) Ofsted performance bonuses – £100 for ‘Good’, £200 for ‘Outstanding’ outcomes Long-service awards – £200 (2 years), £400 (5 years), £600 (10 years) Up to £500 recognition awards for outstanding work 224 hours annual leave, rising to 248 hours after 4 years 3.5 extra days leave for birthday, volunteering, health & wellbeing, and festive celebrations MediCash – cashback for dental, optical, physio and other wellbeing services Company pension scheme A supportive, inclusive working environment built on the ethos of “Potential Not Perfection”If you’re ready to make a real difference in the lives of young people and grow your career in a rewarding, supportive setting — we want to hear from you.
