The Senior Service Desk Engineer role is varied and hands-on, giving you the chance to work across a wide mix of systems and environments while also playing a key part in client relationships and internal projects. You'll be trusted to take ownership, share ideas, and help drive forward best practice. Why this MSP? * Hybrid working – 3 days in-office, 2 days remote * Exposure to the latest cloud tech and tools * Bonus paid quarterly (based on individual and company performance) * A real commitment to development and career growth * 25 days holiday + bank holidays What you’ll be doing as a Senior Service Desk Engineer * Act as the first point of contact for technical issues across Windows and Mac platforms * Own tickets end-to-end, ensuring SLA compliance and clear client updates * Escalate recurring issues and spot trends that need addressing * Help lead internal and client-facing project work * Support hardware builds, software installs, and system configurations * Work closely with clients, vendors, and internal teams to deliver great outcomes * Be proactive in suggesting improvements – your input will be welcomed What they’re looking for * 2–4 years' experience as a Senior Service Desk Engineer or similar, in an MSP * Strong troubleshooting ability with Windows 10/11 and Apple Mac systems * Skilled in Microsoft 365 and familiar with Google Workspace * Confident using RMM tools like NinjaOne, PSA platforms like Halo, and MDM tools such as JAMF * Knowledge of Meraki, SonicWall, and backup procedures is a big plus * A natural communicator who builds trust quickly with clients and colleagues alike This is the ideal Senior Service Desk Engineer role for someone who wants responsibility, variety, and the chance to work in a culture that values trust, autonomy, and excellent service.
