As a Senior Staff Nurse, you'll play a vital role in the Paediatric Neuro-rehab & Complex Care team:
Support and mentor junior nurses, guiding them with your clinical expertise.
Lead the unit in the absence of the Sister/Charge Nurse.
Develop and evaluate holistic care plans for children in partnership with a multidisciplinary team.
Participate in audits and quality improvement projects.
Ensure high standards of clinical governance and patient care.
The ideal Senior Staff Nurse candidate will have
NMC Child Registered Nurse qualification with immediate paediatric life support.
Experience in Paediatric Neurorehabilitation and complex care.
Proven ability to supervise and assess students and lead shifts.
Experience with tracheostomised patients is a plus.
Strong understanding of safeguarding issues.
A background in teaching and mentoring.
Excellent communication skills and clinical governance experience.
