Are you a skilled Structural Engineer looking to take the lead on a diverse range of projects?
Equation Recruitment is proud to be recruiting on behalf of an established and growing engineering consultancy. This is a fantastic opportunity for a confident and experienced engineer ready to join a collaborative, forward-thinking team in Chorley.
About the Role
This position offers the chance to work on exciting engineering projects across sectors including commercial, healthcare, residential, heritage, and education. From concept through to construction, you'll have end-to-end involvement in structural design and delivery. You’ll also play a key role in mentoring junior staff and developing innovative, cost-effective engineering solutions.
What You’ll Be Doing
*
Leading engineering projects from inception to completion
*
Conducting structural analysis and design in steel, concrete, timber, and masonry
*
Producing reports, calculations, specifications, and drawings
*
Managing client relationships and project timelines
*
Providing technical leadership and support to junior team members
What We’re Looking For
*
Chartered or near-chartered status (ICE or IStructE)
*
Minimum of 5 years’ UK-based structural engineering consultancy experience
*
Sound understanding of design codes and construction standards
*
Proficiency with design software (e.g. Tekla, TEDDS, AutoCAD, Revit)
*
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
