DCS Technology in partnership with our client who are a data consultancy are searching for an Senior Tax Manager to join their growing team in Manchester.
Overview:
As Senior Tax Manager you will be responsible for assisting and advising to a variety of clients on tax and financial services.
What will you do?
Lead and manage all direct and indirect tax activities, including corporate tax, VAT, and international tax matters.
Ensure compliance with all tax regulations and filing deadlines.
Provide strategic tax planning and risk management advice to senior leadership.
Liaise with HMRC and external advisers as needed.
Oversee and mentor junior tax team members.
Support M&A activity, restructures, and other strategic projects from a tax perspective.
Monitor changes in tax legislation and assess the impact on the business.
Prepare and review tax disclosures for statutory accounts and support external audit processes.
What will you bring?
ACA/ACCA/CTA qualified (or equivalent).
Proven experience in a senior tax role, ideally within a large corporate or professional services environment.
Strong technical knowledge of UK tax legislation (international experience is a plus).
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Proficiency in tax software and Microsoft Excel.
