Service Advisor – Main Dealership – Cambridge
Salary: £26,000 – £30,000 per annum
Location: Cambridge
We are working with a respected main dealership in Cambridge who are looking to recruit a Service Advisor to join their busy service department. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled Service Advisor to advance their career within a supportive and professional environment.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Service Advisor, you will be responsible for booking in customer vehicles for service and repair
The Service Advisor will liaise with customers both face-to-face and over the phone, ensuring clear and friendly communication
Providing updates and detailed explanations of work required will be a key part of the Service Advisor role
The Service Advisor will produce accurate invoices and handle payments
Work closely with workshop staff to maintain efficient workflow, a key duty of the Service Advisor
A successful Service Advisor will ensure high levels of customer satisfaction at all times
The Service Advisor will manage service schedules, customer reminders, and follow-ups
Upholding brand and dealership standards will be the responsibility of the Service Advisor
As a proactive Service Advisor, you will promote additional products and services when appropriate
The Service Advisor must be organised and capable of handling multiple tasks in a busy environment
The Service Advisor will update service records accurately using the dealership’s system
Experience using Kerridge or similar DMS is beneficial for any Service Advisor
The Service Advisor will support the service team in achieving monthly targets
As a key team member, the Service Advisor will contribute to a positive, collaborative atmosphere
A customer-first mindset is essential for a successful Service Advisor in this roleRequirements:
Previous experience as a Service Advisor within a main dealership environment
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask
Kerridge or similar DMS experience is an advantageBenefits:
