Job Summary for a SHE Advisor
A leading Tier 1 construction contractor are looking for a SHE Advisor to join their Cardiff and West team. Based in Cardiff, this role plays a key part in driving a positive safety, health and environmental (SHE) culture across a range of public and private sector construction projects.
Key Responsibilities of a She Advisor
- Advise managers and staff on SHE best practice and compliance
- Support project teams in achieving 100% Safe delivery
- Develop and deliver SHE training across the region
- Liaise with regulatory bodies including HSE and local authorities
- Conduct site audits, manage SHE data, and produce improvement plans
- Support investigations and continuous SHEQ improvement initiatives
Requirements of a SHE Advisor
- Proven SHEQ experience in the construction sector
- NEBOSH General Certificate
- Environmental/Fire Safety qualifications beneficial
- Strong knowledge of UK SHE Legislation and ISO management systems
- Confident communicator and trainer with stakeholder management skills
