We are currently working with a leading engineering business who are currently seeking a Skilled Sheet Metal Fabricator to join their established production team based in Worcestershire. This is a fantastic opportunity for a self-motivated individual who thrives in a collaborative environment and takes pride in high-quality workmanship.
The Role:
As a Sheet Metal Fabricator, you will play a key role in the fabrication of components in accordance with industry best practices and internal quality standards.
Duties will include:
TIG welding of stainless steel sheet materials
Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
Operating fabrication equipment such as press brakes and guillotines
Participating in assembly, packing, and other related tasks as needed
Ensuring equipment is maintained and working areas remain safe and tidy
Supporting continuous improvement in processes and equipment
Requirements:
Proven experience as a stainless steel sheet metal fabricator
Proficiency in TIG welding (non-coded acceptable)
Ability to work from technical drawings
Competence using press brakes, guillotines, and other metal fabrication tools
A flexible, proactive, and safety-conscious approach
Good verbal and written communication skills
GCSE Grade C/4 or higher in Maths and English is preferred but not essential
