Job Description
Role- Sheet metal worker
Location- Hope valley
Salary £ Neg depending upon experience
12-month Contract starting asap
We are working with a fabrication company in South Yorkshire, due to continued expansion, now looking for an experienced sheet metal worker/welder to join the team.
In this role, you will be responsible for the fabrication and welding of high quality, bespoke products, including sheet metal components, utilising your expertise to ensure precision and durability. This is a great opportunity for a talented individual to work on market leading bespoke products for the global market and help us achieve our goals.
Primary responsibilities:
Weld and fabricate a variety of bespoke components using stainless steel, nickel alloys and mild steel materials, gauge of sheet metal generally between 0.9mm & 6mm thickness.
Weld and fabricate frameworks from mild steel rolled, stainless steel, hollow section and angle iron to a high standard.
Read engineering drawings and translate that into a product with minimum supervision.
Achieve a high standard of finish/tolerance on bespoke fabricated products.
