Sheet Metal Worker | Wareham | £34,000 (depending on experience)
Overview
As a sheet metal worker, you will be responsible for fabricating high quality sheet metal components using a variety of hand tools and machinery.
This position offers guaranteed progression and the training & support an experienced sheet metal worker will need to step into a supervisory role.
Responsibilities
Your responsibilities as a sheet metal worker will include:
Setting up and operating CNC fabrication machinery such as press brakes and guillotines
Using hand and power tools to finish components
Assembly of sheet metal products
Basic inspection of completed work
Reading and interpreting engineering drawings, schematics, and technical specifications
Assisting the team with meeting production targets, providing guidance & training to support the teams development.
Background
The successful sheet metal worker will have:
Previous experience working with producing sheet metal products
The ability to operate metal work machinery such as press breaks and guillotines.
Strong understanding of technical drawings and diagrams
Enthusiastic attitude and the desire to progress into a supervisory position.
