Sheet Metal Worker
Sheet Metal Worker : £33,000 - £35,375
Shifts:
Monday - Thursday 6am – 2pm Friday 6am – 1pm
Monday – Thursday 2pm – 10pm Friday 9am – 4pm
Orion is currently working with a fast-paced manufacturing company based in Derby, We are looking for an experienced Sheet Metal Worker to join their friendly team and work hands-on in a FMCG environment.
Sheet Metal Worker Responsibilities:
Working with materials such as Titanium, stinless steel, Jethete, Nominics etc..
Working to fine gauges 0.7mm to 1.6mm
Working from drawings
Riveting and sealing
Assemble fabricated and machined parts
Sheet Metal Worker Experience:
Working with materials such as Titanium, stainless steel, Jethete, Nominics etc..
Using hand tools to cut bend and straighten sheet metal
Shaping metal over blocks using hammers
Inspecting assembling and smoothing seams and joints of welded surfaces
Work from engineering drawings
Strong attention to detail
Capable of working in a high volume fast paced manufacturing environment
To be able to follow a work list to achieve high productivity
Sheet Metal Worker Qualifications:
City and Guilds
Level 3 qualified in welding and fabricaton
