Job Description
We are currently looking for an experienced Sheet Metal Worker/TIG Welder to work for one of our clients on a long-term/temp to perm basis
The company is a well-respected provider of specialist fabrications and engineering services to a range of end users including food production, brewery and process.
Based in their premises near to Burton on Trent the role will involve working on the manufacture of specialist stainless steel fabrications and will include working from drawings carrying out a range of fabrications duties such as cutting bending etc, and then welding the finished product together using TIG.
Applicants must be experienced in thin gauge fabrications/sheet metal working with a relevant recognised qualifications and be fully skilled in TIG Welding on Stainless Steel. The ability to read and work from engineering drawings is essential and previous experience of working on the manufacture of tanks and vessels for the food/brewing industry would be advantageous
This is an excellent opportunity with a good possibility of long-term work for the right candidate
