My Client is looking for an electrically biased engineer to join a critical maintenance team at a datacentre that powers one of the UKS leading banking organizations.
Shift rotation is on 4 on 4 off rota (Days & nights)
7am - 7pm and 7 pm - 7 am
Salary: up to 48K
This role focuses on maintaining and optimizing electrical, mechanical, and instrumentation plant systems with responsibilities including:
* Performing maintenance, repairs, and calibration to ensure reliability
* Meeting key performance indicators and service standards
* Coordinating with external contractors and suppliers when needed
* Completing required documentation and reports accurately and on time
* Adhering to company policies and safety procedures
* Reporting deficiencies in work systems or equipment
Requirements and Skills
* NVQ Level 3 Electrical qualification in Engineering Maintenance
* Knowledge of building Statutory Compliance
* Understanding of Health and Safety at Work Act (1974)
* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
* Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
* Effective verbal and written communication skills
Specialized Experience (Highly Desirable)
* Experience with critical assets like UPS and Standby Generators
* Low Voltage Appointed Person certification
