I'm working with a major FMCG manufacturer who are on the hunt for a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join their dynamic team and play a key role in keeping our high-speed production facility running at peak performance. This role will be on a Panama Shift covering days/nights/weekends
Your day-to-day tasks will include:
Diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining electrical and mechanical systems.
Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) to prevent breakdowns and improve efficiency.
Utilising CMMS systems to track and document maintenance activities.
Troubleshooting PLCs, hydraulics, pneumatics, and automated systems.
Leading problem-solving initiatives and identifying opportunities for improvement.
Working collaboratively with production teams to enhance overall plant reliability.
What You Bring to the Table:
A qualified electrical and mechanical engineer with experience in a fast-moving manufacturing environment (FMCG preferred).
A recognised electrical qualification (NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, or equivalent).
Hands-on experience with both mechanical and electrical maintenance.
Strong expertise in fault-finding, pneumatics, hydraulics, and automation.
A problem-solving mindset with the ability to work under pressure.
A proactive and adaptable approach to maintenance and continuous improvement.
