Job Description
We are currently working on behalf one of the major family owned construction businesses in Scotland with a reputation for excellence in retail, leisure, office, industrial and healthcare construction sites across Scotland. They are seeking a dedicated and skilled Site Engineer to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in overseeing construction of sites across the central belt, ensuring that all site engineering tasks are completed efficiently and to the highest standards.
Location:
Central Belt of Scotland
Salary range:
£40K-£50K per annum, plus permanent benefits
Duties:
Supervise and manage construction activities on-site to ensure compliance with design specifications and safety regulations.
Setting out of points and levels.
Paperwork (Itps, RAMS etc)
Interpretation of technical drawings.
Conduct regular inspections of work performed by subcontractors and ensure quality control throughout the project lifecycle.
Prepare detailed reports on project progress, including any issues encountered and solutions implemented.
Assist in the coordination of materials and equipment delivery to maintain project timelines.
Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with health and safety regulations, promoting a safe working environment for all personnel.Skills:
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively liaise with team members and stakeholders.
Proficient in using engineering software.
Ability to work under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
Strong organisational skills with a proven ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
A proactive approach to problem-solving with the capability to think critically in challenging situations.
