Key Responsibilities: As a Site Engineer, you will play a vital role in the day-to-day operations of construction projects, ensuring that work is carried out safely, efficiently, and to the required standards. Your responsibilities will include: * Managing and overseeing site operations, ensuring full compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards. * Coordinating with contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth and efficient site operations. * Supervising construction progress, ensuring that the work meets project specifications, schedules, and client requirements. * Performing site inspections, surveys, and quality checks to verify that construction aligns with engineering designs and regulatory standards. * Preparing and maintaining detailed site reports, including daily progress updates, quality control logs, and safety documentation. * Assisting in the preparation of project plans, method statements, and risk assessments. * Overseeing the proper delivery and management of materials and equipment on site. * Resolving technical challenges that arise during construction, working closely with the project management team. * Communicating effectively with clients, stakeholders, and other project team members to provide updates and ensure seamless project delivery. * Ensuring strict adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations throughout all stages of the project. Requirements: To succeed as a Site Engineer, the ideal candidate will have the following: * A minimum of 1 years’ experience as a Site Engineer in civil engineering, preferably within earthworks, ground remediation, any discipline is encouraged to apply. * A solid understanding of construction methods, engineering principles, and site management processes. * Experience with construction contracts, project management, and tendering procedures. * Proficiency with site monitoring tools, engineering software, and technical drawings. * Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with excellent communication skills. * The ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and prioritize effectively on-site. * Full UK driving licence and the right to work in the UK.
