We’re working with a main contractor to recruit Site Engineers for the South West Water Framework, improving the water network over the next 5-7 years across Devon and Cornwall – projects up to £50m!
These will include multi-faceted projects in both clean and dirty water environment, improving water quality, increasing capacity and reducing pollution. The projects offer some great engineering opportunities in heavy civils building new reinforced concrete structures, draw pits, rising mains, shafts, storage tanks and a whole mix of MEICA works.
Site Engineer duties:
* Setting out and surveying (Total Station & GPS)
* Produce as built drawings in AutoCAD
* Quality control throughout construction process and ITP check sheets
* Problem solving design changes, material changes.
The business has a secure workload in the South West for at least 5 years’ giving you the opportunity to progress in the team taking projects from start to finish and undertaking further training. There is structured progression into different engineering roles or into management through the Sub Agent route.
