Site Manager – General Build | Heritage & Education Projects
Location: Oxfordshire
Salary: Up to £60,000
Employment Type: Full-Time
We’re supporting a well-regarded regional contractor in their search for a Site Manager to join their team. With a strong portfolio of general construction, heritage refurbishments, and educational projects up to £3M in value, they offer a stable and rewarding opportunity for someone looking to deliver meaningful work across Oxfordshire.
The Role
As Site Manager, you’ll oversee day-to-day site operations, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and to a high standard. You’ll coordinate trades, manage subcontractors, and work closely with the wider project team on live jobs—often involving heritage elements, occupied sites, or design-sensitive details.
What We’re Looking For
* Experience delivering schemes in the £500k–£3M range
* A background in general build, ideally with exposure to education or heritage work
* Strong leadership and site coordination skills
* Solid understanding of health & safety, programme, and quality control
* Relevant certifications: SMSTS, CSCS, First Aid
