Site Operations Manager – North West
£45,000 – £48,000
We’re recruiting for an experienced Site Operations Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of a busy Cross Dock Centre. You’ll play a pivotal role in driving efficiency, safety, and service excellence in a dynamic transport environment.
Key Responsibilities

Hold site-level O Licence and ensure full legal and safety compliance
*
Lead a safe, customer-focused Cross Dock and transport operation
*
Ensure optimal resource, fleet, and equipment planning
*
Drive performance to meet KPIs and customer service standards (NPS)
*
Own and manage operational budgets and cost control
*
Inspire, coach, and develop your team – building succession plans
*
Drive continuous improvement and partner with internal stakeholders
*
Ensure clear communication at all levels and drive best practice
*
Lead performance reviews and improvement planning
Skills & Experience
*
Transport Manager CPC – essential
*
Proven leadership in transport or logistics operations
*
Strong budgetary, planning, and commercial acumen
*
Continuous improvement mindset and change management ability
