Randstad Student Support is looking for dedicated Specialist Autism Mentors in St. Andrews to assist students with autism. In this impactful role, you'll provide one-on-one guidance, helping them navigate academic challenges and reach their potential.
Starting as soon as possible, you'll serve as a trusted advisor, helping students build confidence and develop essential skills. Your responsibilities will include:
Listening to students to manage stress and anxiety
Encouraging independent learning
Developing organisational and time management skills

Desirable skills include:
Experience of working with autistic clients
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to identify ways of helping students to build on their learning strengths whilst maintaining a confidential and professional working relationship
Punctuality and reliability
Good organisational skills
Ability to manage a caseload of students
Six National Autistic Society (NAS) online training modules:
Understanding autism
Autism and communication
Autism and sensory experience
Autism, stress, and anxiety
Autism: supporting families
Women and girls
