Sociology Teacher – Outstanding School – Croydon
An Outstanding Ofsted-rated secondary school in the London Borough of Croydon seeks a dedicated and insightful Sociology Teacher to join their successful Humanities/Social Sciences department. This is a full-time, permanent position, primarily teaching Key Stages 4 and 5. The school is committed to helping students critically engage with contemporary society.
Responsibilities:
The successful Sociology Teacher will plan and deliver engaging and thought-provoking lessons that explore the complexities of social life, covering a range of sociological topics, theories, and research methods. You will prepare students for success in Sociology examinations (GCSE and A-Level), fostering their ability to analyze social issues and evaluate different perspectives. Requirements:
Applicants must be a qualified Sociology Teacher (QTS) with a degree in Sociology or a closely related field.
