Join Our Team as an SEN Teacher - Make a Difference!
Hourly Rate: £30 - £35 per hour (PAYE) - based on the case
Location: Bournemouth and surrounding areas
Working Days: Monday to Friday (Term-Time Only)
Hours: 9:00 am - 4:30 pm (flexible)
Role Focus: One-on-one teaching for SEN, SEMH, SEMD, and medical needs
Do you want to make a real difference in young people's lives? We are looking for SEN (Special Education Needs) Teachers who want to inspire and support students with various needs. In this role, you will give tailored academic and emotional help to students with Special Educational Needs, Social, Emotional, and Mental Health challenges, and medical issues.
Your Responsibilities:
- Create Safe Spaces: Build a supportive environment where students feel safe to learn and grow.
- Personalised Learning: Develop and use individual education plans that match each student's needs and strengths.
- Support Families: Work closely with families to help students learn outside the classroom.
- Inspire Growth: Teach engaging lessons that build students' self-esteem, resilience, and academic success.
- Be a Role Model: Show positive behaviours and values that encourage personal growth and lifelong learning.
What You Need:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or similar (e.g., PGCE)
- At least two years of teaching experience
- Experience teaching Maths, English, and Science as per the UK curriculum
- Background working across Key Stages 1 to 4
- Good English skills and experience working with SEN students
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service and the right to work in the UK
- Understanding of safeguarding policies
