SEN Support Worker – Barnstaple
Location: Barnstaple, North Devon
Salary: £88.99–£95 per day
Contract: Full-time, Temporary
About the Role:
A supportive and inclusive school in Barnstaple is seeking a dedicated SEN Support Worker to assist students with a range of special educational needs. The ideal candidate will have a compassionate and patient approach, with the ability to adapt to the individual needs of students.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide support to students with SEN in the classroom and during school activities.
Assist in the development and implementation of IEPs.
Promote positive behavior and social interaction among students.
Work closely with teaching staff to monitor and support student progress.
Requirements:
Experience working with students with SEN is desirable.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively within a team.
A flexible and proactive attitude to adapt to students’ needs.
