Location: Harrow, HA1
Pay: £90-£110 per day (depending on experience)
Start Date: May 2025
Contract: Long-term to permanent
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM
Commutable From: Wembley, Northolt, Ruislip, Stanmore, Edgware

The Opportunity
Long Term Futures are working with a well-respected secondary school in Harrow to recruit a dynamic Sports Coach to deliver high-quality support across both PE lessons and broader behaviour mentoring. This full-time role involves working closely with students aged 11-16, supporting their physical development, teamwork skills, and emotional regulation.
This role blends structured physical education with mentoring-based interaction-ideal for candidates with a background in coaching, youth engagement, or physical development who are confident supporting pupils both on and off the pitch.
Key Responsibilities
Assist PE staff in delivering engaging and inclusive sports sessions
Lead small group instruction focused on skill-building and teamwork
Provide one-on-one mentoring to pupils with behaviour or attendance concerns
Support whole-class management during lessons and extracurriculars
Monitor pupil progress and report on engagement and participationWhat We're Looking For
Previous experience as a Sports Coach, Teaching Assistant, or Youth Mentor
Ability to support physical education and build positive relationships with young people
Confident using positive behaviour management techniques
Passion for promoting teamwork, resilience, and confidence through sport
