Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday - Weekends (overtime)
Driving Licence: Preferred
About the Role:
Are you an experienced stairlift engineer seeking a workshop-based position? We are looking for a dedicated Workshop Manager to oversee the reconditioning and refurbishment of stairlifts in our Leeds facility. This role is ideal for professionals who prefer a stable, on-site environment over fieldwork.
Key Responsibilities:
Disassemble and refurbish used stairlifts to meet quality standards.
Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues, and implement effective solutions.
Manage workshop operations, including inventory control and workflow coordination.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
Collaborate with the engineering team to improve refurbishment processes.Requirements:
Proven experience in stairlift engineering.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and manage workshop activities efficiently.
Valid UK driving licence preferred.
