Are you a skilled BMS Engineer with a strong background in Trend or Tridium systems?
We are seeking a dedicated Static BMS Support Engineer to join a long-term project at one of Central London’s most prestigious and environmentally advanced commercial buildings.
The Opportunity:
Based at a landmark site with a high BREEAM rating, you'll become part of a collaborative and established team of on-site engineers. This is a static role offering stability, technical challenge, and the opportunity to work in an award-winning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
*
Monitor and maintain the building management system, identifying and resolving faults.
*
Implement strategy modifications to improve plant performance in line with design intentions.
*
Conduct seasonal commissioning to ensure optimal system operation.
*
Recommend and implement system alterations and improvements tailored to user needs.
*
Provide hands-on support to the site M&E team, diagnosing and rectifying faults on the BMS and associated equipment.
*
Manage backups of software and strategy files (Trend IQVision, IQ, and TONN).
*
Replace faulty BMS controllers and field equipment as needed.
*
Keep detailed records including a BMS works list and activity reports.
*
Participate in ongoing training and team meetings.
Your Background:
*
Proven experience with Trend systems, ideally with exposure to Tridium (training can be provided).
*
Proficient with engineering tools such as SET, IQVision and Trend TONN8.
*
Strong understanding of HVAC systems and electrical competency.
*
Adept at interpreting and adjusting control strategies.
*
Familiar with PC tools, especially MS Word and Excel.
