Our client, a leader in the defence and security sector, is currently seeking a Stock and Despatch Controller to join their team in Newport. This is a permanent role offering a unique opportunity to work on groundbreaking products and applications within the security and communications industry.
Key Responsibilities:
Goods Inwards and Receipting of Stock, including visual quality inspection
Location of Stock and Stock Checks
Maintain accurate stock information on internal systems
General Picking and Packing duties
Outbound Shipping and Collections
Working with partner logistics companies
General Housekeeping of Stock Areas
Supporting the production team with some equipment maintenance
Job Requirements:
Excellent communication skills and a team enthusiast
Good understanding of Office 365
Awareness of Health and Safety regulations
