Job Description
Stock Controller / Storekeeper
Hours: Mon – Fri; 7.00 am – 4.00 pm
Pay Rate: £13.70 per hour + Overtime at x1.5
Term: up to 6 months, with a possibility of becoming permanent
We are actively recruiting for an experienced Stock Controller / Storekeeper to work on behalf of a renowned and extremely well established manufacturing company based near Kingsbury.
Our client can offer an immediate start for the successful applicant following interview and they are ideally look for and individual to support with the following duties;
* To process all maintenance items and production materials orders through SAP.
* Monitor and optimise critical engineering spares stocks, making sure that critical spares are always held or available.
* To control engineering stocks.
* Induct and manage contractors on site.
* Provide assistance to maintenance team as and when needed to support the operation of CMMS ( Agility 2.0 ) on site.
* Help resolve invoices queries, goods delivery and stock item issues.
* Generate spend reports for cost centres on site.
Qualifications and Experiences required:
* Previous stock control experience and knowledge of SAP or experience using a similar type of stock control program would be advantageous. Otherwise SAP training can be provided.
* Strong excel skills / competent using spreadsheets.
* Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
* Good problem-solving abilities
* Ability to manage own time and ensure set KPI's are met.
