Job Description
STOCK REDUCTION COORDINATOR
Carbon60 is looking to recruit a Stocks Reduction Coordinator to work for a leading Specialised Industrial Service Provider based in Manchester.
ROLE: Stocks Reduction Coordinator
PAY RATE: £15.63/hr, circa £32,500 per annum
JOB TYPE: 18 months contract
LOCATION: Stretford, Manchester (M32)
HOURS: Full time, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, office based
THE ROLE:
Contact suppliers to discuss buy back of stock, buy or return agreements, auction and purchase of non-moving/overstock.
Work with the Fulfilment Centre of Expertise team to discuss buy back of stock, buy or return agreements, auction and purchase of non-moving/overstock.
Arrange supplier visits, providing data and information as appropriate to facilitate visits and conversations to agree the above.
Provide data and reports to facilitate discussions around inventory reduction e.g. min max recommendations.
Provide data and reports to ensure teams are fully updated on progress towards inventory reduction plan.
THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE:
Experienced in project management and self-directing.
Experienced in inventory management principals.
Confident and competent in data manipulation/analysis and reporting.
Organised and able to work to deadlines.
Strong communication and influencing skills.
Intermediate skills with MS Office and specifically Excel required, e.g. able to use Vlookup's and other functions to aid in producing reports and data analytics.
