We're seeking a Stores operative to join our expert team at Northwood.Working within the Logistics Dept , delivering Mail and Scanning, Site Services and Stores services to meet the contractual requirements of a key MoD contract in Northwood
What you’ll be do:
* The Stores person will receive, issue and deliver items of stores in a courteous and professional manner.
* Account for items of stores on the MOD system.
* Maintain appearance and cleanliness of all areas in the Stores Complex.
* Driving a variety of vehicles within the Stores pool, ranging from cars, lorries, forklifts and Powerflex Sweepers. Complete first daily inspections on all vehicles.
* Maintain the outward appearance and cleanliness of the Northwood Headquarters.
What you’ll bring to the role:
* Excellent customer service skills.
* Forklift Licence Holder
* A good sound knowledge of stores accounting procedures.
* Good Health & Safety knowledge and attention to detail.
