Student Behaviour Mentor- Newbury Full Time - April 2025 Are you confident or outgoing? Do you want to act as a role model to students facing challenges in education? We are seeking a dedicated individual to join as a Student Behaviour Mentor in April 2025. We are a specialist education school located in Newbury, supporting students aged 11-16 years old. The Student Behaviour Mentor role focuses on building trust and rapport, developing independence and motivating students throughout their education. Supporting pupils facing behaviour management challenges Helping students to learn and practice healthy coping mechanisms Tracking progress and implementing education plans Practice effective communication skills to resolve conflicts and emotional regulation Motivate students to develop independence and engagement with learning material We are committed to nurturing a supportive community for staff to progress and develop their skills when supporting children with additional needs. Experience supporting children on a personal or professional level is very beneficial but not mandatory. Relevant education or previous experience is welcomed.
