Your Role as Subject Leader of RE:
As the new Subject Leader of RE, you'll lead the development and delivery of an inspiring curriculum that brings Religious Education to life across Key Stages 3 and 4. You'll support and guide a talented team, share innovative teaching ideas, and ensure high standards are maintained across all lessons.
Your leadership will:
Drive curriculum innovation, fostering curiosity and critical thinking
Promote inclusive teaching practices and high achievement for all pupils
Collaborate across the Humanities department to enrich the student experience
Make Religious Education relevant, engaging, and thought-provoking
What We're Looking For:
We're seeking a Subject Leader of RE who is:
A qualified teacher (QTS or equivalent) with a strong RE background
Experienced in teaching across Key Stages 3 and 4
Ready to lead a department or take the next step in their teaching career
Passionate about student progress, curriculum development, and team leadership
Enthusiastic about professional growth through ongoing education and training
In possession of (or willing to apply for) a valid Enhanced DBS
