As we continue to grow, we seek a dynamic Supervising Social Worker who will play a key role in shaping the future of our agency and improving the lives of children in foster care. Your Role as a Supervising Social Worker: In this role, you will oversee and support a caseload of foster families, ensuring they have the guidance, training, and resources needed to provide high-quality care to children in their homes. You will collaborate closely with local authorities, social service agencies, and internal teams to facilitate successful foster placements and provide ongoing support. Key Responsibilities: Recruit, assess, and train prospective foster carers in line with regulatory and organisational standards. Conduct comprehensive assessments of potential foster carers, including home visits, interviews, and background checks. Provide ongoing support and supervision to foster families through regular home visits, meetings, and crisis intervention when needed. Develop and implement tailored care plans for children in foster care, working collaboratively with carers and other stakeholders. Monitor and evaluate children's progress, ensuring their safety, well-being, and developmental needs are met. Maintain accurate and up-to-date case records, reports, and documentation in compliance with regulatory and organisational policies.
