Supply Teachers for Special Needs School in Birmingham Position: SEN Supply Teacher Location: Great Barr, West Midlands Academics are a dedicated Education agency based in Birmingham, committed to providing an inclusive and supportive learning environment for students with a range of abilities who are in Special Schools. We believe in fostering a nurturing and empowering space where every child has the opportunity to thrive. We are looking for passionate and flexible Supply Teachers to join our team and make a meaningful difference by teaching in special schools. The schools we work with are based all over Birmingham. Role Overview: As a Supply Teacher at our SEN schools, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and tailored lessons to students with special educational needs (SEN). You will work alongside a team of experienced teachers and support staff to provide a positive learning experience that is tailored to the individual needs of each student. Key Responsibilities: Deliver lessons to small groups or individuals based on a planned curriculum. Adapt lesson plans and teaching materials to cater to diverse learning needs. Foster an inclusive and supportive learning environment. Collaborate with other staff members to support students' personal, social, and academic development. Maintain a safe, respectful, and engaging classroom atmosphere. Support students' emotional, social, and behavioural development.What We Are Looking For: Qualified teacher status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualifications. Experience working with students with special educational needs is desirable. Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students and staff. Flexibility and a willingness to adapt teaching approaches to meet individual student needs. A patient, empathetic, and caring approach to teaching.
