About the Role
As a Supply Teaching Assistant, you’ll have the unique opportunity to work in a variety of our amazing partner schools within the Colindale area. This role is perfect for individuals who thrive in dynamic environments and enjoy working with Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 students. Whether you’re covering ad hoc absences or stepping in for daily supply needs, your contributions will play a vital role in supporting students’ learning and development.
Key Responsibilities
• Assist teachers in delivering engaging and effective lessons
• Provide 1:1 or small group support to students, including those with SEN needs
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment
• Help manage classroom behaviour and ensure a safe learning space
• Adapt to different schools and teaching styles with ease and professionalism
What We’re Looking For
• Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant or in a childcare setting
• A genuine passion for education and working with children
• Flexibility, adaptability, and a proactive attitude
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Relevant qualifications (e.g., Level 2/3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning) are desirable but not essential
