Job Description
We are seeking a Maths Teacher to join a Secondary School on the Fylde Coast on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective mathematics lessons to students across years 7 to 11. This role is ideal for an enthusiastic educator who is committed to fostering a love for mathematics and helping students achieve their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver high-quality maths lessons in line with the national curriculum.
Assess, monitor, and support students' progress, providing timely feedback
Develop differentiated lesson plans to cater to a range of abilities and learning styles.
Create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Prepare students for GCSE exams and other assessments.
Work collaboratively with colleagues to enhance teaching strategies and curriculum planning.
Participate in staff meetings, training, and school events as required.
Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
Experience teaching mathematics at KS3 & KS4.
Strong classroom management and communication skills.
Passion for mathematics and a commitment to student success
Ability to inspire and motivate students of varying abilities.
