Job Title: Teacher of MFL – German and Spanish Location: Sheffield, S35 Salary Range: £155 - £220 per day (Depending on experience) Start time: Immediate – Until end of academic year Contract: Full-time – Until end of the academic year Do you have a passion for languages and inspiring young minds? An inclusive and supportive secondary school in Sheffield is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teacher of Modern Foreign Languages to teach German and Spanish across KS3 and KS4. This is a fantastic opportunity to bring your passion for languages to life and motivate students in a well-regarded school community. Responsibilities: Plan and deliver engaging and interactive lessons in German and Spanish to students aged 11-16. Assess, monitor, and report on student progress, providing feedback and support where needed. Create a stimulating learning environment that encourages student participation and enthusiasm. Collaborate with department colleagues to ensure curriculum continuity and enrichment. Maintain high standards of classroom behaviour and foster a positive learning culture. Requirements: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. Experience teaching German and Spanish in UK secondary schools. Strong classroom management skills. Ability to inspire and engage students of varying abilities. Commitment to delivering high-quality education with enthusiasm and creativity. Have an updated CV and an enhanced DBS registered to the update service (or be willing to apply for one).
