The role is aiming to start after the Easter break and run through until the end of the academic year. There will also be an opportunity to extend the role into the next academic year if the school thinks you're doing a brilliant job and if you think that the role is the perfect job for you!
Expectations of a Teaching assistant in Merthyr Tydfil:
You will be expected to assist the delivery of lessons within the classroom whilst also having great behaviour management.
You should be comfortable in 1 to 1 situations and taking small groups out of the class to aid them with learning material.
Be empathetic and understanding of all children and their individual situations and needs.
