Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:15 AM - 3:45 PM (30-minute lunch break)

Reeson Education is looking for a caring and proactive Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in the WA5 area of Warrington. This full-time, long-term Teaching Assistant role involves supporting pupils in Key Stage 1, particularly across Year 1 and Year 2, with a focus on children with special educational needs (SEN).
About the Teaching Assistant Role:
The Teaching Assistant will work closely with the class teacher to provide individual and small group support to pupils with SEN.
The Teaching Assistant will help create an inclusive and nurturing classroom environment where all children can thrive.
The Teaching Assistant will assist with planning and delivering tailored interventions to meet pupils' specific needs.
The Teaching Assistant will contribute to classroom management, pupil progress tracking, and school life more broadly.
The Teaching Assistant will follow safeguarding procedures and school policies at all times.
The Ideal Teaching Assistant Will:
Have previous experience as a Teaching Assistant in primary schools, particularly in KS1.
Be passionate about supporting children with SEN, including communication needs, learning difficulties, or emotional challenges.
Be a Teaching Assistant with strong communication, patience, and empathy.
Be flexible, proactive, and ready to work as part of a caring team.
Be a Teaching Assistant who can build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and families.
Teaching Assistant Requirements:
Experience supporting children in a UK school setting.
Valid Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willing to apply).
Two professional references from the last three years.
Right to work in the UK.
A genuine interest in long-term Teaching Assistant work in KS1.
