Location: Wigan, WN2
Start Date: ASAP
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:45 AM - 3:45 PM (30-minute lunch break)
Pay Rate: £13.69 to £15.83 per hour
Contract Type: Full-time, Long-term
Reeson Education is looking for a warm, enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join a vibrant and inclusive Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) setting in the WN2 area of Wigan. This Teaching Assistant role is full-time, long-term, and starts as soon as possible.
The Teaching Assistant will support across the EYFS provision, moving between Nursery and Reception to work with a wide range of children. The role includes class support, small group interventions, and one-to-one support for pupils with additional needs.

Key Responsibilities for the Teaching Assistant:
Work as a Teaching Assistant across EYFS, supporting Nursery and Reception.
Provide group support, one-to-one support, and general class assistance.
Assist with learning through play, early phonics, and basic number skills.
Support pupils with social, emotional, and developmental needs.
Foster a nurturing, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment.
The Ideal Teaching Assistant Will:
Be a nurturing and engaging Teaching Assistant with EYFS experience.
Have a clear understanding of early childhood development.
Be adaptable, creative, and confident working across both Nursery and Reception.
Be able to support children with a range of needs, including SEND.
Show strong communication and teamworking skills.
Teaching Assistant Requirements:
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willing to apply).
Right to work in the UK.
Recent references covering the last 2-3 years.
A genuine passion for EYFS as a Teaching Assistant.
