Are you an experienced Teaching Assistant with a passion for supporting young children’s learning and development? We are currently seeking dedicated and enthusiastic individuals to join our team in Chelmsford. We have a variety of full-time and part-time roles available to suit your availability.
About the Role:
As a Teaching Assistant, you will support class teachers in delivering the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum, helping to create a stimulating, safe, and supportive learning environment. You will work closely with children on a one-to-one basis or in small groups, supporting their academic, emotional, and social development.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the planning and delivery of engaging learning activities in line with the EYFS framework
Provide individual and group support to children, helping to meet their developmental milestones
Build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
Support the day-to-day running of the classroom environment
Contribute to the observation and assessment of children’s progress
Requirements:
Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant in an early years or primary setting
A Teaching Assistant qualification (desirable but not essential)
A solid understanding of the EYFS curriculum
A genuine passion for working with young children
Strong communication and teamwork skills
