Are you a hardworking Teaching Assistant looking for a new role?
Zest is recruiting for an experienced 1:1 Teaching Assistant to join a primary school in Tamworth on a full time basis starting as soon as possible.
This school is a popular one form entry school which has been serving the local community and beyond for over 130 Years. They have 7 classes from Foundation through to Year 6 and are proud of the daily successes of each and every one of their pupils.
Their knowledge engaged curriculum develops key skills of collaboration, independence and resilience so that the learning culture in each classroom is second to none.
The staff, children and governors at this school work hard to achieve, are inspired by each other and other people further afield and have aspirations for their short and long term futures.
The role will see you working 1:1 in Y4 with a child with additional needs you will be working closely with this child and mainly out of class. In the afternoons, you will support another child within the classroom the majority of the time.
Hours: Monday to Friday from 8:30 am to 3:30 pm.
This role offers the ideal candidate a position at the school until at least the end of the academic year, with the opportunity of extension for the ideal person.
To be considered for this position, you must have prior experience working in a similar role.
The successful candidate will demonstrate strong communication skills, a proactive approach to supporting students and teachers, and a genuine passion for education.

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
