GSL Education are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to undertake a position at schools in Eastleigh. As a Teaching Assistant, you will provide personalised assistance, promoting a love for learning, and contributing to the overall academic development of students in diverse subjects.
We are looking for someone with a passion for supporting diverse learners and expertise working with students.
In this role, you will support teachers in the planning and delivery of dynamic and engaging lessons while offering individualised assistance to students to help them understand complex concepts and achieve academic excellence. You will help cultivate a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes student participation and collaboration. By working closely with colleagues, you will contribute to the development of innovative teaching strategies and resources. You will also play a key role in the holistic development of students by nurturing their social and emotional well-being. This hands-on experience in a lively educational setting is ideal for anyone aspiring to become a teacher.

Location: Eastleigh
Salary Scale: £82.10 to £104.16 per day
Start Date: September 2025 as start date
Requirements for Teaching Assistant role:
Hold a bachelor's degree in education or a related field.
Be available for work Monday to Friday.
Be proactive, energetic, kind and caring towards students.
An enhanced DBS on the update service (or willing to go through the process with us).
A fully checkable work history.
Flexibility to adapt to various teaching styles and environments.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively
To work with GSL Education as a Teaching Assistant, you should:
Have the right to work in the UK.
Have an up-to-date CV with two relevant references from within the last 2 years.
Have a DBS registered to the update service or be happy to apply for one with GSL Education
